Set against the wide-open views of their Mountain View County acreage, this covered deck addition gave Shawn & Lauren the true outdoor living space the home was waiting for. We extended the existing roofline over the deck with exposed cedar posts and beams, anchoring the space with a dual-sided see-through gas fireplace wrapped in dry-stack stone and topped with a custom cedar mantel. Retractable screens, radiant overhead heaters, and layered lighting stretch the season well beyond summer – a space that feels rustic, warm, and built for year-round gathering.
