Andrew Leslie
President
I started Solid Solutions with a desire to offer customers the opportunity to hire an honest and reliable renovation company. With a background in civil engineering, construction, and residential renovations, I discovered the need for contractors who believe that professionalism and communication should be at the heart of their business. I was always passionate about building strong relationships and wanted to create a company with a client-first mentality. I have made it my mission and purpose to help homeowners improve their homes and live in the house of their dreams.

My passion for carpentry and construction dates back to my high school days, but my career began years later. I began working with a small general contracting company while completing my carpentry apprenticeship. Shortly after picking up my Red Seal, I went back to school, taking the Civil Engineering program at SAIT. This diploma helped propel my career into an office, working at Stuart Olson as an Estimator and Project Coordinator. Although I am very grateful for the opportunity and knowledge I had gained from Stuart Olson, I soon realized I had different career aspirations in mind. When the opportunity arose to join Andrew and his team at Solid Solutions, I just knew this was the career path I had been looking for all along.
Brett Ritchie
OPERATIONS MANAGER
I have been in the construction field since my early twenties. I became a Red Seal carpenter at Sait in 2009. Throughout my career, I have been lucky to gain experience in a variety of different roles, such as a Carpenter, Site Forman and Field Superintendent, and a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Coordinator. All of these roles have taught me the best ways to take a client’s vision and execute it on site. On my off days, I enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle with my friends and family. Hockey, football and baseball are just a few of the sports I like to play and follow. My wife and daughter push me to be the best person I can be. Whether it’s in my home life being a dad and husband or in my career at Solid Solutions.
