We are currently looking to expand our field staff by adding a Project Lead Carpenter. With being an actively expanding business over the past 9 years, the opportunity for development and growth within our team is limitless. The ideal candidate will have excellent work ethic, be a team player, posses the necessary skills, and most importantly portray the positive and uplifting culture that has been established here – family. Solid Solutions will give you every opportunity to develop and grow within your role as a Project Lead Carpenter.

Tasks that are carried out by our Carpenter’s are:

  • On site demo, framing, millwork, flooring, drywall, mud/tape, and paint
  • Install doors, case, base, trim
  • Onsite communication with the clients and Sub trades
  • Quality control

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills and knowledge in:

  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow a construction schedule
  • Experience in home renovations
  • Good communication with clients, sub-trades
  • Being a good representation of Solid Solutions Renovations and carrying on the family-like atmosphere we have created with our clients and fellow employees.

Position OverviewThe Service & Warranty Technician is responsible for overseeing warranty claims, service requests, and post-renovation client care. This role ensures that every completed project continues to meet our standards of excellence, while providing homeowners with responsive and professional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding service and warranty inquiries.
  • Receive, assess, and document warranty claims in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate and schedule trade partners, suppliers, and internal staff to complete service work.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect reported issues, verify warranty coverage, and ensure high-quality repairs.
  • Assess and complete minor deficiencies without needing to dispatch trades when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records of all service requests, work orders, and client communications.
  • Educate homeowners on warranty terms, care, and maintenance of renovation finishes.
  • Monitor recurring service issues and escalate concerns to project management for resolution.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in residential construction, renovations, or customer service within the building industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficient tool and carpentry skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with project management or CRM software is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license
